Expansion planned by Avro Heritage Museum

The Avro Heritage Museum will submit a plan to expand its existing building in 2025. Located on the former airfield and BAE Systems production site at Woodford, the Avro Heritage Museum aims to preserve the history of the site and aviation in the Greater Manchester area. Ambitious plans for the expansion of the museum were publicised on October 21, 2024, after being reported by the BBC. The expansion plans would permit the Avro Heritage Museum to display additional aircraft indoors,
