Experimental NASA F-5 emerges from restoration
Florida’s Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum has completed anti-corrosion and restorative work on Northrop F-5E 741519. The former US Navy jet, which has been moved outside temporarily, was modified by NASA for its 2003 Shaped Sonic Boom Experiment, a study on shockwaves created at supersonic speed.
