Benchmark Simulations has announced Falcon BMS version 4.37 is now available.

The update sports several new features and improvements including virtual reality support and a new user interface. Various aircraft improvements include an updated Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) panel for the F-16, Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) simulation fire and working mirrors in the cockpit.

There are also several work-in-progress improvements on the F-15C cockpit systems and flight model, as well as various visual fixes such as improved afterburner effects, contrails and wingtip trail optimisation.

Other parts of the simulator have also been improved, such as various texture fixes for theatre assets and the terrain, updates to the sound system and the weather engine. Performance improvements include CPU and memory optimisation as well as Crash to Desktop (CTD) fixes.

Finally, documentation changes include new F-16 checklists, updated training manuals and navigation charts. New ECM/Suppression of Enemy Air Defences (SEAD) training missions have also been added. More information is available on the Falcon BMS website.
