Fifty years of Belgian SF260s
AT LEAST four Belgian Air Component SF260 trainers have received special schemes to mark the 50th anniversary of the type with the service. Serial ST-31 was photographed at Beauvechain air base on March 22, and ST-02, ST-30 and ST-35 have been similarly painted. Belgium acquired 45 examples of the SF260M from November 1969. Survivors were later upgraded to SF260M+ standard with new cockpits, GPS and improved engine management systems. The fleet was supplemented by a batch of nine SF260Ds delivered
