Finnair marks 100 years of flight today
Finnair is celebrating 100 years of flight having operated its first-ever service today (March 20) in 1924. A statement from Finnair says the first flight, by Aero O/Y as it was then known, took off at 15:40hr from Helsinki carrying 337lb (162kg) of mail to Tallinn in Estonia.
