First Merlin HC4 delivered to 846 NAS

A SECOND Fleet Air Arm Commando Helicopter Force unit has begun re-equipping with the new Merlin HC4/4A, the ‘marinised’ version of the former RAF HC3/3As that were transferred to the Royal Navy. The helicopter, ZJ125 ‘J’, was delivered to 846 Naval Air Squadron (NAS) at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Somerset, on March 12.
