First private Lynx completes testing
Suffolk-based businessman Graham Hinkley’s Westland Lynx AH7 XZ179/G-NCKS received its permit to fly on 29 April following restoration by North Weald Heritage Aviation. The machine was the 10th Lynx AH1 built by Westland at its Yeovil plant, making its first flight in the hands of test pilot Roy Moxam on 22 May 1978.
