First two Dutch CH-47Fs head for upgrade
MODERNISATION OF the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) CH-47F fleet will begin shortly, following shipment of the first two Chinooks to the US by sea. The pair left the port of Antwerp on March 21, after being dismantled for transport at Woensdrecht Air Base. The helicopters will be upgraded to Foxtrot MYII CAAS (Common Avionics Architecture System) standard. The RNLAF plans to standardise on this latest configuration of the CH-47F.
