Forgotten screwdriver tip triggered Jetstar A320 engine failure
An investigation by the Australian Transportation Safety Bureau discovered the tool may have been in the engine for more than 100 flights , An Airbus A320-232, operated by Jetstar Airways, was forced to reject its take-off at Brisbane after the pilots noticed vibration and a ‘popping’ noise, a report by the Australian Transportation Safety Bureau has found.
