French Sea Fury sold to new owner in Canada
Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 TF987 (WH589/F-AZXJ) is on its way to a new home in Canada. It had previously been operated in France by Christophe Jacquard. The 1949-built aircraft was converted into a two-seater and delivered to the Iraqi Air Force in 1958. Brought to North America in the late 1970s it was returned to the air in 1995, before moving on to Canadian Carey Moore, who based it at Waterloo, Ontario from 1999.
