Hurghada International Airport (HEGN) in Egypt is one of the top scuba diving locations in Africa. Several hotels and resorts along the approach path provide scenic views when landing on one of the two runways.

The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an accurate rendition of the actual destination featuring an updated airport layout with the twin runways and the new general aviation apron. It was developed using MSFS technologies such as dynamic lighting and reflective textures to provide a realistic lighting environment and interior modelling of the terminal.

The surrounding area is modelled with various hotels, resorts, landmarks, and the nearby El Gouna private airport (HEGO). It is also compatible with all known add-ons, including GSX.
