Aircraft developer FSReborn has released the FSR500 turboprop for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The aircraft is an extension of the PA-46-S00TP Malibu Meridian featuring upgraded systems, including advanced avionics and a pressurised cabin.

The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator features a detailed 3D model with several 4K liveries with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures and an authentic flight model using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in MSFS and with input from real-world pilots. The package also features highly detailed systems, including an authentic turboprop model with a custom ITT simulation and a cabin pressurisation system with climate control.

Animations include doors, chocks, propeller covers, security cones, a ground power unit as well as a red carpet, fuel truck and passenger transport vehicles such as limousines and SUVs.

Other highlights are night lighting, MSFS rain and icing effects and a passenger behavioural simulation; during a flight, passengers respond to environmental conditions and even judge the quality of the landing.

An Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) controls options such as fuel, payload, ground equipment and a maintenance module for managing wear and tear, including tyre pressure, brakes, battery charge, engine maintenance, lighting bulbs, etc. More than 100 possible failures are modelled, such as hot starts, brake and electrical failures with over 90 working circuit breakers.

It also comes with interactive checklists as well as Navigraph and SimBrief integration for displaying charts or importing flight plans. It is available in the in-sim Marketplace for £27.49.
