Further details emerge of LMXT platform
Further details have emerged of the Lockheed Martin/Airbus Defence and Space partnership to bid for the US Government’s KC-Y ‘Bridging Air Tanker’ programme, which is seeking between 140 and 160 additional tankers from 2029. The bid will be based on the LMXT launched in September 2021 and which is a variant of the Airbus ‘New Wave’ Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT).
