Former Tuskegee Airman, Brigadier General Charles McGee has passed away at the age of 102. Credited with six aerial victories, McGee flew 409 combat missions spanning World War Two, the Korean and Vietnam wars. His combat record speaks for itself, however, in being part of the first all-black African-American fighter unit McGee and his fellow airmen were also breaking new ground for equal rights.
