Gloster Javelin heads to East Midlands Aeropark
The fuselage of Gloster Javelin FAW9 XH767 left the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington on 22 October, heading for a new home at the East Midlands Aeropark adjacent to East Midlands Airport in Derbyshire.The artic that was used to transport the Javelin was fresh from delivering the Rolls-Royce Griffon engines belonging to the museum’s Avro Shackleton MR2, WR963, from Coventry Airport to Elvington.
