Greece plans F-16 upgrade, eyes F-35
Continental Europe THE GREEK defence ministry has unveiled plans to upgrade its existing F-16 fleet and purchase F-35s. According to aides of Defence Minister Panos Kammenos, the decision has been taken based on recommendations by military leadership. The defence minister has signed a letter of request to the US to pave the way to upgrade the entire fleet of Hellenic Air Force F-16C/Ds to F-16V standard.
