Gyrocopters saved at Newark Air Museum
Campbell-Bensen B.8M gyrocopter G-ASNY, previously on loan to Newark Air Museum, has now been bequeathed to the venue through the will of its late owner, Roger Light. This complete airframe has been on display since it arrived at the museum in April 2009.Additional actions by the museum trustees and volunteers have safeguarded a significant collection of other gyrocopter airframes, engines and parts. During several visits to northwest England, the items were gathered and moved into storage at the museum’s Nottinghamshire
