A Southwest Airlines cabin crew member suffered a serious spinal injury requiring medical attention after the aircraft in which they were flying landed heavily, according to a report published by the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). An investigation into the incident on July 1 revealed Southwest Airlines Flight 2029, operated by Boeing 737-700, N480WN (c/n 33998), struck the ground with such force during arrival at John Wayne Orange County Airport in Santa Ana, California that the cabin crew member
