‘Heritage’ look for New Hampshire ANG
KC-135R 57-1430, operated by the 157th Air Refueling Wing’s 133rd Air Refueling Squadron, New Hampshire Air National Guard, has received markings including a ‘fish hook’ with the text ‘N H Air Guard’ on the fuselage as well as stylised ‘scallop’ markings on the engine nacelles. The aircraft was operating from Geilenkirchen Air Base, Germany, in January this year, using the callsign ‘Nacho 71’. 57-1430 is the fourth oldest aircraft in the USAF inventory, having been delivered on July 31, 1958.
