A former Austrian Army helicopter has been relocated
Agusta-Bell AB.204B Huey 4D-BL 3154 has been relocated to the forecourt of a warehouse on Obere Werkstrasse in Dornbirn Austria.
The helicopter’s cockpit and rotor assembly have been snugly wrapped up to protect the machine from the forthcoming Austrian winter.
The aircraft is a former Austrian Army machine, delivered in late 1965. After being withdrawn from service it was repainted in an ‘imaginative’ tiger-style scheme, and by 2009 it had been placed on top of a commercial unit at Dornbirn in the north-east of the country. WITH THANKS TO ROD WEALE
