Icelandair welcomes first Airbus
For the first time Icelandair has taken delivery of an Airbus aircraft. The A321LR, TF-IAA (c/n 12213), touched down at the carrier’s Reykjavík/Keflavík base on December 3. It is the first of several examples on lease from SMBC Aviation Capital, with two more of the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-powered jets scheduled for delivery before summer 2025.
