India’s first two MH-60Rs inducted into naval service

The navies of India and the US marked a historic milestone on July 16, when the first two Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk multi-mission maritime utility helicopters were inducted into the Indian Naval Fleet during a ceremony at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California. This milestone was announced by the US Navy on July 22, which said that the “ceremony is part of an ongoing initiative that also includes comprehensive training for Indian aircrew and maintainers on operating and sustaining the
