IrAero and Aurora Airlines place new orders
IrAero and Aurora Airlines have announced that they are to purchase several Russian airliners through leasing agreements, including the Yakovlev SJ-100 and MC-21.The move comes after both airlines were forced to rethink their fleet strategies after previously operating Western types such as the Airbus A319, Bombardier CRJ200LR, and de Havilland Canada Dash 8. IrAero signed an agreement with United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. It covers 21 SJ-100s, nine Tupolev Tu-214s and seven MC-21-300s. The
