Israeli F-35I Adirs claim first air-to-air combat kill
The Israeli Air Force’s F-35I ‘Adir’ fleet has recorded its first air-to-air combat kill with the claimed shootdown of two Iranian uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) outside of Israeli airspace, according to official defence sources. In a March 6 statement on social media, the IAF revealed F-35I fighters had earlier that month “successfully intercepted” two Iranian UAVs launched towards Israeli territory.
