JetBlue resumes San Jose service

The airline suspended operations at the Californian airport in April 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak

JetBlue has returned to Norman Y Mineta San Jose International, providing a nonstop service from New York/JFK using its fleet of Airbus A321 aircraft.

The four times weekly departures will leave the Big Apple at 17:59hrs local and arrive in the Californian city, six hours later, at 21:35hrs.

The return connection leaves at 22:50hrs and arrives on the east coast at 07:22hrs a day later.

John Aitken, the airport’s director, said: “New York City is a timely and welcome addition to San José’s returning JetBlue service. The warmer weather and relaxing COVID restrictions are bringing more people through our terminals, and we’re very happy to now offer this popular, nonstop link between Silicon Valley and the New York Metro Area.”

The flights come just two weeks after JetBlue resumed its nonstop Boston/Logan to San Jose rotation on July 10.
