JUMBO AUCTION: Iraqi Airways puts pair of Boeing 747s up for sale
Flag carrier Iraqi Airways is set to auction off a pair of Boeing 747s that have been parked at an airport in Tunisia since the early 1990s. The jets – a 747SP and 747-200C – are due to go under the hammer on August 16 at Tozeur/Nefta, where they have been in long-term storage since the beginning of the first Gulf War.
