Kosovo becomes latest Bayraktar TB2 operator
The Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) have become the latest operator of the Turkish-made Baykar Bayraktar TB2 medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE) unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV), Pristina-based media reported on May 5. Kosovan authorities avoided commenting on media reports that five examples of Turkey’s combat-proven MALE UCAV were delivered to Pristina International Airport ‘Adem Jashari’ in early May, just seven months after the related purchase agreement was signed by Kosovo’s Minister of Defence Armend Mehaj in late 2022.
