San Diego formerly known as Lindbergh Field, is the busiest single-runway airport in the world. The approach is well-known for its proximity to the skyscrapers of downtown San Diego as it can prove difficult for pilots due to the relatively short usable landing area, steep approach gradient over the crest of Bankers Hill and shifting winds just before touchdown.

The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is based on September 2023 data, sporting a detailed terminal area with animated jetways and high-resolution textures with details such as dirt, cracks on the pavement and accurate ground markings.
Other highlights include runway guard lights, animated and static 3D passengers, FSLTL traffic compatibility and airline codes assigned to each gate.
A ‘Lite’ version of KNZY North Island Naval Air Station (Halsey Field) Airport is also included in the package. It is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$30.00 (approx £15.64).
