Landing gear fitted to Argentine Ju 52
The restoration of a Junkers Ju 52/3mge (msn 4043) – formerly the Argentine Air Force’s T-158 – passed a new milestone on March 26 with the installation of its main landing gear.Volunteers of the GTRA (Grupo Técnico de Restauraciones Aeronáuticas) are diligently working on the aircraft at the Museo Nacional de Aeronáutica, located at Morón, Buenos Aires province. The aircraft is the last remaining original example manufactured by Junkers in Dessau, Germany. Unfortunately, it sustained significant damage during a 2010
