Last ‘trap’ Rockwell Buckeye refurbished

A North American T-2C Buckeye has been restored for museum display in Florida

Staff at the National Museum of Naval Aviation (NMNA) in Pensacola Florida, have recently completed the refurbishment of North American Rockwell T-2C Buckeye BuNo 157058. Delivered to the US Navy in 1973, the jet was the last of its type to ‘trap’ aboard a USN aircraft carrier – the USS Harry S. Truman – on July 25, 2003. Acquired by the NMNA soon after its withdrawal, it wears the markings of its final operational unit, Training Air Wing 1 (CTW-1)
