London City’s largest ever jet
Helvetic Airways operated an Embraer E195-E2 into London City Airport for the first time on March 26, 2025. The regional jet is the largest aircraft ever to operate into the UK capital’s city centre airport. Helvetic Airways conducted the flight for SWISS International Airlines on a wet-lease basis.
