Lufthansa completes restoration of Lockheed L-1649A Starliner
Lufthansa Technik has announced the completion of its restoration project involving a Lockheed L-1649A Starliner, also known by the German carrier as a Super Star. The aircraft, which bore the US registration N7316C, marks the revival of a classic airliner that once symbolised the pinnacle of long-haul air travel in the 1950s.
