Lufthansa increases Airbus A350 order
Lufthansa Group has ordered another five Airbus A350-1000s, taking its overall commitment to 15 of the type, to be delivered between 2028 and 2030. All will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. Its initial order of ten, made in March 2024, are scheduled for delivery from April 2026. The A350-1000s will replace older four-engined models including the Boeing 747-400, Airbus A340-600 and A340-300.
