The aircraft is accurately recreated with quality 3D artwork and Wwise audio effects including the unique engine sounds of the Daimler-Benz DB 605A. Other highlights include ten liveries, a realistic flight model and a detailed simulation of the DB 605A-1 V-12 engine with custom thermodynamics, including oil temperature, pressure and viscosity simulation so failures are possible.
The fuel, hydraulic and emergency systems have also been faithfully recreated, including electrical failures, working circuit breakers and an accurately simulated J30BZ Chronograph.

The aircraft sports custom ground handling physics and a landing gear model to capture the 109 ground handling and landing gear system so the undercarriage can be damaged and collapse on touchdown. Other details include UV lighting, dynamic cockpit vibrations, animated fuel line bubbles and a functional gunsight.

An integrated FlyingIron pilot’s tablet includes features such as an autopilot, aircraft options, realism settings, data monitoring and weight & balance. The aircraft is available on FlyingIron’s website for $45.00 AUD (approx £24).
