Mi-24 Hind restored by Czech museum
Former Czech Air Force Mil Mi-24D Hind ‘0220’ has undergone a complete restoration to virtually as new condition in the Czech Republic.The helicopter was originally supplied to the former Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Union in 1982. After a long military career it was retired in 2005 for static display at Kbely’s Letecké Muzeum on the outskirts of Prague. LOM PRAHA via M LoweIt subsequently spent much time on display outdoors, where inclement weather left it in an increasingly poor state.
