MOD confirms retired RAF Sentinel sale to the US
The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) has confirmed that the retired fleet of RAF Sentinel R1s are to be sold to a consortium instead of being scrapped, this is due to the sales bid being deemed more value for money to the UK taxpayer than the original fait of scrapping.
