More B-250 prototypes set to fly
Calidus showed off the first prototype B-250T at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from February 17 to 21, 2025. Sporting an orange colour scheme, the B-250T (981) had new Aselsan avionics in its cockpit (although Calidus was reluctant to admit they were the Turkish company’s design). The B-250 is being designed for missions such as close air support, intelligence, surveillance, targeting and reconnaissance (ISTAR), persistent air support, counterinsurgency (COIN) and training.
