Mosquito duo wows Californian crowds
During the Planes of Fame Central Coast AirFest at Santa Maria, California on 21 September, a pair of de Havilland Mosquitos flew in close formation, the first time two of the type have been seen in the air together anywhere for more than 37 years. The aircraft, FBVI PZ474, owned by the Sacramento-based Somers Warbird Collection, and T43 NZ2308, based in San Antonio, Texas with Lewis Air Legends, are the third and fourth examples to have emerged from Mosquito maestros
