Thanks to previous donations earlier this year Sywell Aviation Museum is making great progress in the restoration of 1969-built Handley Page Jetstream G-RAVL.

The aircraft is believed to be the third oldest of its type in existence. The Jetstream’s newly refurbished tailplane has recently been fitted.

The Northamptonshire-based museum charges no entry fee and relies on donations to survive. With that in mind it is currently appealing for donations of aviation books, model kits, diecast models and other aviation-related products to help raise funds. If sufficient donations are received, the museum will host another of its popular book and model sales early next year. They’re also willing to help collect items where possible.
