Mystery USAF F-16Ds arrive in Europe
FIVE US Air Force F-16Ds landed at Charleroi- Brussels South Airport, Belgium on the evening of August 17. Having departed Atlantic City, New Jersey, they were refuelled over the Atlantic by KC-135R 62-3502, which then flew into RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk. The F-16s went to the aerospace company SABCA, which provides depot-level maintenance to the US Air Forces in Europe (USAFE).
