The single-engine FN.333 Riviera amphibious light aircraft made by Italian-based SIAI-Marchetti, performed its maiden flight in December 1952 and was introduced a decade later following several refinements. A total of 29 were built, with some continuing to fly to this day. The Riviera is capable of operating off of either land or water, and the robust hull-fuselage and slow-speed capability provides enough power and control to get out of tight locations. Its six-cylinder 260hp Continental IO-470-P piston engine and three-blade constant-speed propeller give it a range of 560 miles and cruises at 165mph.

The cockpit can be toggled between standard NavCom units or a GNS 430 GPS.

The aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator features several high-quality liveries, a detailed 3D model, including the unique twin-boom tail assembly and features such as custom cockpit lighting, visual water spray and sound effects for amphibious operations, retractable wing floats and undercarriage along with a working anchor. The reversible propeller is also modelled for water docking and reverse parking operations.

Other details include options for standard NavCom avionics or a GNS 430 GPS, in-sim checklists and documentation based on the original aircraft flight manual. The package is available on iniBuilds’ store for £9.99.
