New ‘jump platform’ for RAF Falcons
DORNIER Do228 C-FPSH arrived at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, direct from Canada on May 20. The RAF Falcons parachute display team will use the aircraft for the 2017 season. The Falcons use a variety of aircraft as jump platforms, depending on aircraft availability and the nature of the display. These include the Chinook, Hercules, Puma HC2 and RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota.
