New two-seat Spitfire takes to the air
Aero Legends’ Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXT MJ444/G-LEGD Lady Luck made a debut post-restoration flight in the hands of John Romain on June 6. Built in 1943 as a single-seat Mk.IX, it served three RCAF squadrons including 411 and 402, which Aero Legends’ other two-seater, NH341/G-CICK Elizabeth, also flew with.
