Nigerian A-29B delivery delayed in Iceland
Originally due to arrive at Scotland’s Prestwick Airport on September 19, six Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC)-Embraer A-29B Super Tucanos on a delivery flight to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have been held captive at Keflavik, Iceland, due to poor weather conditions. Due to strong winds, the turboprop-driven light attack aircraft are still sitting on Keflavik’s tarmac today.
