The Canadian-built Norseman was developed by aircraft manufacturer Noorduyn Aircraft. More than 900 examples were built between 1935 and 1986 when the company was acquired by Canadair.
The single-engine bush aircraft was known for its rugged construction and ability to operate on rough unimproved airstrips. It was operated extensively by the military during World War Two although it was also used for cargo and passenger transport in remote areas, such as northern Canada and Alaska with many examples still in operation today.

The Norseman for Microsoft Flight Simulator is a highly detailed and accurate representation of the real aircraft, sporting six liveries and three variants: standard, bush wheel and floats. It also features realistic flight dynamics and performance characteristics, making it suitable for use in remote, challenging environments.
It is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$27.27 (approx £14.75).
