Norse Atlantic Airways has entered into an agreement with Nigerian carrier Air Peace for an ACMI (Aircraft Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) charter service on the Lagos to London route.

Commencing in April 2024, the deal is initially for a two-month period, although Norse said there was potential for a longer-term agreement. The charter will operate four times a week. The carrier will be using slots at London/Gatwick previously allocated to Air Peace to facilitate the connection.

This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to leverage Norse Atlantic’s expertise in charter operations to deliver a reliable and high-quality service to Air Peace and their customers.”

Air Peace operates across west and central Africa with its inaugural scheduled commercial flight having commenced in October 2014. The airline currently has a network of 21 domestic, ten regional and six international destinations, including Dubai, Guangzhou, Jeddah, Tel Aviv, Johannesburg and Mumbai. The airline has a fleet of 30 aircraft, including three Boeing 777s, eight Embraer ERJ145s, 12 Boeing 737s, five new Embraer E195-E2s (with eight more to be delivered), two Airbus A320s, as well as firm orders for five E175s and ten Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
