Norway receives first AW101

Continental Europe AW101 Srs 612 serial 0268 (ZZ103) during aircrew training at Cornwall Newquay Airport prior to delivery. This is the first AW101 for the NAWSARH programme, which will replace the RNoAF’s Sea King Mk43B fleet. Bob Sharples LEONARDO HAS begun delivery of 16 AW101 Srs 612 helicopters to the Norwegian Ministry of Justice, which oversees the Coast Guard’s Norwegian All-Weather SAR Helicopter (NAWSARH) programme. The first AW101 for Norway, serial 0268 (ZZ103), departed Leonardo’s Yeovil, Somerset facility on November
