News Review • CIS Former Vladivostok Air Tupolev Tu-204-300 RA-64045 (c/n 1450742864045) has been given a new lease of life as a VIP transport for the Russian Federal Space Agency. Named ‘Sergei Korolev’ (widely recognised as the founding father of the Soviet space programme), the jet is operated by the Cosmonaut Training Centre and will be used to ferry astronauts to and from the Baikonur spaceport in Kazakhstan.
