The OV-10 Bronco light attack and observation aircraft was developed in the 1960s and extensively used in various countries in roles including firefighting. With its Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities, the Bronco can operate from unimproved sites and even aircraft carriers.
The Bronco for Microsoft Flight Simulator is based on a real-world example located at the Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse in Montélimar, France and was developed with the help of real OV-10 pilots to reproduce the handling characteristics. The fixed-shaft Garrett TPE331 turboprops are also accurately recreated with custom condition and power levers.

Both the OV-10A and OV-10B variants are modelled in detail with a highly optimised 3D exterior and interior model based on 3D scans with ultra-high-resolution textures. The package also comes with 12 liveries and a custom sound set based on actual Bronco recordings.
The cockpit has been accurately modelled with custom avionics and fully working systems, including the fuel system with an external tank, working circuit breakers and an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) to manage the aircraft settings and interactive checklists. It is also compatible with the GNS 430 and GTN 650 from TDS and PMS50.
Other highlights include an operational gunsight with a dimmable reticle, working machine guns with firing effects and animations such as mirrors, air vents and a jettisonable external fuel tank. Various weapons can also be mounted on various hard points.

Additional features:
The Bronco is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$45.00 (approx £23.55).
