Patriot Express returns to Mildenhall
When Eastern Airlines Boeing 767-336ER, N705KW (c/n 24342), touched down at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk on September 20 it marked the restart of a service after a hiatus lasting almost two decades. This was the first flight of a new Patriot Express service, also known as the ‘Rotator’ or ‘Cat B flight’, which are the terms used for a US Department of Defense contracted commercial charter flight to enable military personnel and their families to travel between America and overseas
